DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED:

i created this animation using inspire3d a cutdown version of lightwave 5.5
mainly to test and setup a character animation in inspire3d.
inspire has no Inverse Kinematics so thats why i created a character with no
arms or legs only hands & feet much easier.
i broke the project into two scenes first the falling down scene then the
talking scene ( if you hadn't noticed )
all modeling by peter thomas

the surfaces of the walls, table & lounge surface are all procedural all the
other texturers were created in a free programme called the gimp
the floor texturer was made from a friends digital camera pics again using the
gimp

the lighting is one distance light parented to a null that is offset and
parented to another null that spins a 720 degrees a frame, with motion blue on
is give me softer shadows.they are also some point lights under the floor with
the shadows turn off and set at about 20% to fake a little Radiosity :)

the lip scyning was done with a programme called mouth this app creates a morf
envelope so the morfing between the mouth shape targets is alot easier but i
had to
draw up a dopesheet to show each frame and what was being said at all points of
the animation anyway
( so when he said "me" the finger points, the ears pick up, the eyes enlarge etc
)
this took the most time to get right.
i tried to do this without a dopesheet but it look completely wrong :L(

rendering was again done in inspire3d output was 640X480.jpeg then edited
together in ulead media studio 5 the only thing added in ulead was the sound
track.

mpeg1 output was done using a TMPGEnc version beta12e
