IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
        "Arrival"
You wake up from a short nap, and notice that the telltale thrumming
of the Tardis' power source has stopped- 'We must have landed' you
think
to yourself. It's not like the Doctor to consider your feelings in
matters
like this, he usually barges in and thinks nothing of shaking you from
a
sound slumber. You make you way towards the control room, after getting
lost
a couple of times you finally reach your destination- The doors are
open!
You know that something is wrong, the Doctor would never leave the doors
ajar.
After taking a moment to admire the striking and somewhat surreal
landscape,
you prepare yourself to set off into this strange new world- and into a
new
        adventure waiting to be explored...
DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
A lot of work, and a copy of "The Doctor Who Technical Manual" were all
that
was needed to create the console. Despite some obvious errors in the
blueprints, since the television series' set went through several major
(and
countless minor) changes, I decided to stick to the plans in the book.
While the coat rack and sonic screwdriver are simple CSG's, for the room
itself
it took a little work to align the angled walls. I started with the
back wall
at origin, and built from there, rotating the each section into place in
relation
to the previous piece (in other words I didn't plan ahead;-)).
