DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 
    I've changed the idea 5 times
   during the creation of the image on the "magic" topic. This is the
   final idea. The whole "wooden monster" was created using the MetaNURBS
   tool in LW modeler. I've applied the ShaderMan Plank shader on the
   whole monster, and it did a fantastic job of surfacing the object. I've
   added a little bumpiness, and that was it. We have the bumpy terrain on
   which the monsters are standing, and the mighty clouds :) in the
   background (LW's infinite texture layering - fractal noise).
