IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

This scene shows an art gallery that contains a greek motive. In the
center of the
room lies the Venus of Milo, which mainly inspired this scene, on
each side of the
room lies an amphora over a pedestal the one on the right is atributted
to Euphiletos
(530 B.C.) and the one on the left is atributted to Exekias (540 B.C.).
The columns around the room are just a simply model of a greek column.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

Most of the scene was created using Rhino 3D, except for the columns,
the
pedestals for the amphoras and all of the floor that were created using
the
        POV text editor.

The figure of the Venus were taken from Poser2. The model was exported
to
Rhino and edited using some boolean differences to get the right shape
for
the arms. The dress and hair of the model were created in Rhino, then
all the
entire model was exported to POV.

Both of the amphoras were created using Spatch with the lathe tool. The
texture
image for these objects were scanned and then edited using Photoshop.

The atmospheric effect and the lightning instensity and direction were
adjusted
to get the effect of a shinny day contrasting with a slightly
ilumminated interior
without overexposing the bright side or leaving the dark side without
any detail.
