IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

The image shows a circle of two layers of arches.
Each arch has a torch and in the center of the circle
there is a large stone table with a fire in the middle.
The steps outside the circle of arches are visible
  in the moonlight.
The light shining through the arches is made visible
with the atmosphere effect of povray.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The complete .pov file is included as a zip file and is
well labeled and almost self-explanitory, but here is a
short summary of the creation of the image:
The arches are all identical and are placed using a
sine and cosine routine. The flames in the torches are
  halos with slight turbulence.
The fire is also a halo with quite a bit of turbulence.
The trees are randomly sized, colored, and placed.
The atmosphere is a hazy atmosphere with MIE scattering.
I used the standard "atmos.inc" file included with
povray, and I am including it in my zip file.
I used no tools other than a text editor.
