IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

A nice warm day in the desert sometimes yields a wonderful surprise.
As you walk through the painted desert you can smell the water on the breeze.
As you get closer you start to hear the rippling of the waves against the
shore.
You come to the peak and there it is, the most beautiful river that your
weary eyes have seen in many days.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

I started with the simple terrains in Bryce. Tweaked them with the editor
and positioned them just right. I used the painted desert texture that comes
stock and then laid the water in.

The water and haze are what I think make this image work. I managed to get
them
just right.

I would include the source but I don't have it any more. I upgraded to a
5.7G HD and lost a bunch of stuff. :-(
