IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

In Hungarian there is an expression for childbearing,
it would sound somelike "to be in a state of blessing".
(yes, this picure is about childbearing ;-) I don't want to waste words how this
comes to the actual topic,I hope that You all understand how I mean this
picture, and will not protest for a cross section of a pregnant woman :-I (ugh,
too morbid!?)

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

First of all, I was searching for some photos about eyes
and embryos on Internet(Unfortunately all low res.
so I had to make texturemaps from nothing, I used Photoshop for this. A few
brushstrokes and some filters applied on them). As my old, goodlooking
eye-modell had been lost, I built a newone in Rhino, just like the modell of
the embryo. Both lofted from a few curves, exported to Moray's UDO format. The
eyeball is a CSG of some spheres and cylinders. The hardest part of the work
was the creation of the eyelashes: I tried to make them being realy 3D
cylinders, cones, lofts), but it didn't work (at least with my practice- I've
never tried before), so at last I made a surfacepatch, and gave it a
transparent map. (If You have better, please let me get it known!) The
reflected man was a last minute (last night) idea. So I borrowed the mesh of
that figure from Andras Heger (a.k.a. Rainfall), Thank You, Andras! I used
moray to put them all together, and rendered via Povray.

THANKS go to everyone, who helped me: Julianna, Rainfall, Koros

DEDICATED to my older sister, she knows why; and maybe so do You ;-)
