IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

I know that it is not much, but here is my first attempt at doing something for
a competition. With that in mind, I thought, spheres, when I first heard of
the competition title. Worlds are spherical, and they contain lots of little
spheres (id est: other cultures). Here then, is my representation of that...

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

I first started with the smaller 'sphere complex'. It has no 'see-thru'
properties. Then I cloned it and made the new complex see-thru. Once again I
cloned the non-s.t. and put each (8 total) inside the s.t. complexes spheres
(that is, in the corner spheres, one per). I cloned the s.t. one so that I had
eight total, then cloned a s.t. one w/o the spheres inside so I could repeat
the process before.
That was pretty much the construction of the image. That was all done in
Moray. POV-Ray generated the BMP, and XnView generated the JPG.
