The main (and only) character is not only lonely. Tonight, for is
Premiere, he really
        feels the loneliness.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

Except for the character, the stool and the curtain, everything is basic
CSG.

The walls are only boxes. The ceil is a union of height field (generated
with POV).
The armschairs are CSG of rounded boxes, cylinders and torus. The scene
is a union of
individual plankets (CSG). The speaker on the left of the scene is a
union between CSG
box and an isosurface (mesh function). The mike is only CSG (spheres,
cylinders, torus)
and a sphere_weep for the cable.

The curtain is a cloth simulation made with my simcloth feature
(POVMan). The resulting
mesh is used twice (one scaled with <-1,1,1>).

The character and stool are models from DAZ3D. The jeans are a free
model from the web
(don't remember who, I'll search later). Textures are basic POV textures
and images
bought at DAZ or found on the net.

Two spotlights illuminate the scene, and there's also 3 area lights
coming from the left
of the picture. Radiosity is used.
