IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Somewhere in a demension void nearly of everything, a statue stands on an
enchanted platform. How it got there is a mystery, but it is apparent that the
enchantment has givin the statue at least a thread of conciousness...

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

This was a good chance for me to really stretch my modeling skills. I modeled
everything in the scene from splines with a few exceptions: The statues head
was actually a bald female head that I imported from one of the sample scenes.
The lower half of the toga is from a cylinder and the torches are modified
spheres.

All textures with the exception of the fire are procedural maps that I created
by copying a bitmap. this way I could use them repeatedly throughout the scene
without having to worry about seams or repetitions.
