IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Well for those who need another clue: "IT's all fun & games until someone gets
hurt."
This is what got the ball rolling, I pictrured a kid target-practicing in a barn
or some place like that.
And well misfire/bad aim... and he gets chased by the injured person. Drops the
slingshot and the BBs.
The blood drops indicate a gravitational drop (large drop)
and another drop while the victim was moving(chasing) the kid. (CSI is the
source of blood spatter knowledge :))
I was going for a sepia tone, but not completely, just the feeling.
Focal Depth, blurring is meant to focus on the main area between the slingshot
and the blood.
Also hopefully it will give the viewer subtly get a 'tunel-vision' feeling...
where everything else is not important, and thus giving a glimpse
into the perspective of the victim, who's blinded with rage/vengance.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

I was inspired by "Still with Bolts" by Jaime Vives Piqueres (2002) -check it
out in the hall of fame or PovRay
Wanting to do something similar, but with accordance with the theme,
I figured that I would 1st create a wooden floorplane. Standard 3Ds max material
with a bit of tweaking and adjusting.
The slingshot and the soda Can (practice-target) were done in Rhino3D, very
basic stuff.
The BBs are just regular spheres with some deformations to make them look
slightly used, not perfect, more photoreal.
Rendered at 3000pixel wide, and then shrunk down in Photoshop.

Hope you like it.
