IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

A bad pun, worse spelling and an understocked fishmongers at the end of the
day.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

Well, I decided to enter very late, and it shows.

Originally, I'd hoped to create at least 3 or 4 different types of fish, but got
bogged down on the oysters (note to self, isosurfaces are NOT the answer to all
life's problems - hell, they aren't even the answer to all raytracing
problems).

Aside from that, well, we have some oysters made mainly from an isosurface, but
with barnacles placed using a trace macro, and some isosurface/media influenced
semi-crushed ice. Everything else is pretty much standard CSG, with some
radiosity thrown in.

The wooden slats were made using Christoph Horman's isowood macros. I've
included the necessary files in the zip to allow for a quick render of the
image, but I strongly suggest that you get the originals from Christoph's site
(http://www-public.tu-bs.de:8080/~y0013390/iso_wood.html).
