Bad dogs! BAAADDD DOGS!! Sometimes catastrophe is mainly a matter of
perspective.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

I think that I was out of my depth as soon as I thought of this image: lots of
organic modeling, uv-texturing, natural textures, and what is with that image
aspect?!? Oh well, nothing like a challenge.

The main cast of characters (dogs, cat and even tree) are all modeled in
Wings3D. I started with the cat and learned a bunch as I went. My thanks to
people for helping me get better at edge loops. The two dogs were initially
modelled as a single figure, then mods were made to each for posture. The tree
is mostly just a (lopped off) trunk and main branch. There is a small branch
for the leaf cluster at the upper right, but it ended up off image.

I scattered a whole bunch of leaves above the trunk to try to cast some shade
and hint at a branched canopy above - but the hinting is pretty broad! The
grass is a whole bunch of mesh blades.

I really stalled out on the tree bark. I didn't like anything procedural and
ran into problems with the uv maps. Wings3d suddenly didn't want to export the
files and trying to merge the textures from the trunck to the branch just keep
throwing me. I finally had to go back to a layered procedural but it is quite
lacking.

I included most of the files used, with the exception of the uv maps due to
size.

Any help or suggestions would be welcome. There is a tremendous amount that I
would like to change and improve. But I sure learned a lot!!
